“Autumn in Voronet” filmfest to screen Iran’s ‘Gavchah’

The Int’l Film Festival “Autumn in Voronet” in Romania is to screen Iranian ‘Gavchah’.

The 41st edition of the International Film Festival “Autumn in Voronet” in Romania has been scheduled to screen Iranian short documentary ‘Gavchah’.

Written and directed by Kamran Rasoulzadeh and produced by Majid Zabeti, the 10-minute doc depicts one of the ancient traditions of Iranian farmers, in which a cow understands the language of its owner in a wonderful way.

‘Gavchah’ has previously taken part in some global events, including the 2021 Screen & Story Film Festival in the UK.

“A genuine portrayal of one of the ancient Iranian traditional methods of agricultural irrigation that relies on the interaction between a man and a cow; a strong connection between the animal and its owner is established by their own way of communication,” the website of the Screen & Story filmfest wrote about the Iranian doc.

The “Autumn in Voronet” aims to promote the creativity of film schools, competence and professionalism in this field.

The 41st edition of the event is slated for October 6-10, 2021 in the Romanian town of Gura Humorului.
